To help and care our brothers and sisters abandoned in the streets and hopitals and homes, is the aim of Karunyadeepam. All that is necessary for a human being is so very costly today, but the human itself has become of no value. man who has no money rejected, sick and old are abandoned. To feed the hungry and shelter the abandoned of our society, we have a home in Pathirappally, Alappuzha Dis., named Karunyadeepam inaugurated on 8th February 2008, with the blessing and approval of the Bishop of Cochin and our parish priest, with the sole member who was abandoned in Medical College Hospital, Alappuzha. It is registered under Kerala Government Reg. 313/2008. At present we have 65 member - men and women who are crippled, deaf and dumb, blind, mentally disturbed of old age.
Together with your fervent prayers for us we are also so much in need of financial support at this movement. Dependence on God's blessing and goodwill of good people are our hope for the success of this work, god has entrusted to us.
We strongly believe that ever following river of kindness and mercy, will never fail us and that gives living water for the growth of this Karunyadeepam. We accept the abandoned children of God of any cast, age and gender. All the members of this home inmates and staff pray daily for the whole world, especially for the intentions of all those helping us in any way. To continue this more fervently we are urgently building a prayer house in most simple and appealing style. Also this enable to accept more who are knocking at our Karunyadeepam. Once more requesting your co-operation and generous help for our various needs in Karunyadeepam.
More that service, driven by the force of the living words of the Gospel, this little group was able take up this work of God, entrusted to us only with the strength and support and by the co-operation of the good and generous people like You. Moved with the compassionate love of God we are ever grateful to you for what you are to us.
When the goodness of good people mingle with God's spirit, wonders happen and miracles do take place on this earth and this happens in every area of our activities of Karunyadeepam. people who do not expect praise and frame and returns for the good done buy them, are many and they are the ones walking with us today and always leading and encouraging and helping us to go ahead for the growth of the Karunyadeepam.
The very humble and small beging we had, is now on its way to full development, hoping in the generosity of the compassionate brothers and sisters. To all who have goodwill we raise our hope, stretch our hand for the support and be sure this help is for the abandoned children of God, and for them alone. And this is our only anim and satisfaction.
